I’ve Finally Done It: All My Video Content Is Now on YouTube.

You know those tasks that sit on your to-do list for far too long? The ones that silently judge you every time you open your planner? Uploading all my video content to one central place was that task for me.

Well, I’m pleased to say: it’s done. You can now find all my marketing strategy insights, AI-in-marketing tips, podcast snippets, and my brand tone-of-voice talk neatly housed on a KLW Marketing YouTube Channel. (Cue the confetti cannon.)

Previously, these videos had been scattered across various social platforms. Now they live in one tidy, easy-to-access catalogue, ready for binge-watching or quick inspiration.

But this isn’t just about digital housekeeping. It’s about making your content work harder and smarter – and YouTube can absolutely be part of that plan. If you’re not currently using it as part of your marketing mix, here are five reasons to reconsider.

Five Reasons to Add YouTube to Your Marketing Strategy

1. It Boosts Your Brand Visibility

YouTube is the world’s second-largest search engine. That means your content has the potential to be discovered by people actively searching for what you offer. It’s not just about views, it’s about getting in front of the right people at the right time.

2. It Builds Long-Term Value

Unlike social posts that disappear into the algorithmic void after a few days (or hours), YouTube videos keep working for you over time. Evergreen content can continue to attract views, leads, and engagement for months, even years.

3. It Gives Your Brand a Voice (Literally)

Video allows your audience to hear your tone, see your personality, and feel your brand. Whether it’s a short tip or a deep-dive talk, showing up on video builds trust and connection far quicker than static content alone.

4. It Enhances Your SEO Game

Google owns YouTube. Enough said? Well, maybe not quite. Embedding your YouTube videos on your website and blog can improve dwell time, reduce bounce rates, and support your search rankings.

5. It’s Not as Overwhelming as You Think

You don’t need studio lighting, a film crew, or a YouTuber voice to get started. Repurposing existing content (like I did!) is a great way to dip a toe in the water. Done is better than perfect, and consistency beats complexity every time.

If you're curious, I'd love for you to check out the channel and explore what’s there. And if you’re wondering how video could fit into your strategy or need a hand making that happen, get in touch. I’d be happy to help you make YouTube (or any platform) work harder for your business.

Until then, happy watching and happy marketing!
